I like to think I know how to use a camera.
Captured a meteor that burned for 6 seconds across the Texas sky this morning. Had a wild boar messing with me at this time, but turned around just in time to watch this burn through my view toward the western sky. Perfectly placed behind the Lighthouse in Palo Duro Canyon.

Mesa Arch at Canyonland NP.

The view you normally don't see at the high interest spots in a national park. This is after most had left, so we were testing out other angles to capture the glow.

My most random tornado.

5 years ago right as the covid lockdown started in March of 2020, I stumbled across this tornado as a very small storm moved across a boundary. This tornado was just a few miles north of PANTEX, between Amarillo and Fritch. Visibility was really bad and I nearly missed it.

Hughes Fire at 8pm last night near Santa Clarita. Only 3 major hotspots by that point.

Light pillars over Amarillo as temps fell near zero last night and the snow faded out.

Nothing beats walking across the Utah desert at night, turning around to see this behind you. If the #TheWave wasn't impressive enough, this was definitely some icing on the cake. #auroras

Sunrise over #PaloDuroCanyon last week. Oct/Nov have the best sunsets and sunrises. Having the biggest canyon in Texas as a foreground doesn't hurt.
