Mostly ethylacetate and solvent mixtures. I think we use DCM and CH3CN because they were available and cheap. Same as with benzene

No, but it's use drops as students are not trained on it. Likely will be less available in the coming years also.

We eliminated DCM in teaching labs over 10 years ago! The fines for water waste pollution were a huge incentive to do this (in NL they take water seriously and have a completely separate water government!)
