Nobody really. Bandit country.
It’s on the north side of the bugger/bagger line (the isogloss to the north of which the word bugger is pronounced properly, whereas to the south it is pronounced ‘bagger’ for some reason).

Check the Amazon reviews for Veet for Men. Viz Comic has a lot (of great things) to answer for.

They have transcended the genre they started in, so appreciating them takes work. Unless you make the effort (which will be rewarded) you are correct, which is a shame.

This is why I’m looking forward to afternoon Petroc - I dropped PM before I dropped Today. The takeover of news, magazine & media navel gazing on R4 has turned me away. I listen to R4 on Sounds now - never live, that way I can pick and choose the few remaining points of light in the schedule.

I’m looking forward to Tom in the mornings too. He’ll take a while to be as great as Petroc, but I think he will be. And Petroc has earned a long lie…

I seem to be out of step, but I’m looking forward to afternoon Pertroc. On his meanderings around the UK he’s had the chance speak with many interesting people and he’s always charm personified. The afternoon slot will give him chance to do that far more often, and that is a good thing. 1 of 2

You do a grand job of listening to the things I suspect my blood pressure won’t stand and therefore avoid like an opinion piece by Boris Johnson. Your public service to suppressing my FOMO is much appreciated.

Maybe the use of farms as an inheritance tax dodge has pushed up their value? Maybe with the tax those who want a farm to grow stuff, rather than hide cash, could aford to buy one?

I wonder how much the use of farms as an inheritance tax dodge has pushed up their value? Maybe with the tax in place people who want a farm to grow stuff, rather than somewhere to hide cash, won’t have to take on unsustainable debt to do so?
