They are doing the same thing they did with COVID to increase their wealth. After every one of these "once in a lifetime" economical hardships, they come out wealthier than when it starts. When the market is bottomed out, they snatch it up. Wash, rinse, repeat.

They (tariffs) are good for some, just not you and me and the vast majority of those affected by them. People like the billionaires that all lined up in the first row for King Chud's coronation.

I've thought about this a bit. I think my point was not well articulated. Trump is a moron, and so are the people he has appointed. What I meant to convey is that the outcome of their policies is to destabilize the economy, and they are achieving that.

We need to move away from this mindset. We keep looking at it as if the motives driving Trump's decisions are for the flourishing of the market and America's well being. They aren't. He is intentionally dismantling the economy and he is succeeding. It's a lot of things, but it's not incompetence.
