I disagree, because I think all of our efforts this season must be put into getting top 4 so that we have CL next season. If we don't, it will hit the club's finances and may discourage top class signings in summer.

The constant heavy rain made the pitch heavy to run on, and that would make them more tired. Yes it applies to both teams, but it's clear that confidence is fragile, and when confidence drops, so does energy.

The problems aren't fixed, despite good wins against poor opposition. I honestly didn't expect us to win, but it hurts more when we lose from a winning position - again.
I now fear for some of the upcoming league fixtures. The new signings may help but the midfield remains the main problem.

All teams have improved this year, especially the middle ones in the league. So what we are seeing is teams taking points off each other. Bit early to say that Liverpool will run away with it but looks the most likely.
