For all of you who think of the '80s as a golden age, in some ways it was, but things were just as messed up as they are today. At least we thought they were. I revisit the scene in 1985 (and have a long, hard talk with my younger self).

Last Monday my wife and I attended a lovely family wedding outdoors at an event venue. There was a slight delay and as we waited for the ceremony to begin, we were invited to mingle. Guests left their purses on the chairs, and I thought it would make an interesting composition.
