Transgender people are not "men in dresses." We are women, men and nonbinary people living our truth. Bathroom and locker room access is about safety and dignity for us and for everyone. new York must stand strong against federal attacks on transgender rights and strengthen our state laws.

The promise of expanding mental health care has often been a cover; in reality, many unhoused and mentally ill individuals are funneled into jails due to lack of treatment options.

As a trans woman, it deeply saddens me that so many still fail to understand the necessity of life-saving medical care for transgender individuals—whether through hormone therapy, essential medications, or, later in life, surgical procedures.

Both passport and N-565 were submitted prior to Jan 20th. I only have enhanced DL and soc sec # with correct name and gender.
