A lot of institutional democrats are bad but it's the only party we have a chance of influencing the direction of. I generally don't consider myself a democrat but I also won't EVER vote for any R ever again.

Unfortunately that was the deal McCarthy made. It takes 8 republicans to vote to vacate now. I've been calling and telling my useless rep to do so but he's got no ideas of his own.

I definitely didn't see enough talk about ESPN in the push back. I canceled my ESPN+ and cable in response as I didn't have Hulu/Disney.
I have reinstated them with Kimmel's return but I'll cancel again if I have to.

For Rep Brian Babin of Texas for every email I have ever sent I've gotten the same form email from him and nothing ever followed back up. If you talk to his staff they take notes but offer no comments.
