A November 2025 release, so you don't have to wait!

"Snatched from her ancestral lands, a giant tortoise finds herself in an exclusive estate in southern California where she becomes an astute observer of societal change."

I learned about quislings from World War Z (the book, not the movie). Yet another time learning about zombies improved my life!

As I recall, the Greens got themselves kicked out of the debates, by not running enough candidates and publicizing that they'd pulled candidates to avoid "vote splitting." But curious how this is the NDP's fault.

All right, transit updates without having to swim in a fascist, racist, sexist, homophobic cesspool!

Thank g-d you labelled this. I was convinced I was looking at a white pizza with black olives.

Okay. I am not sure how that relates to the question of consent and whether Indigenous nations will - unlike provinces - have "nation building projects" "imposed" on them?
June 6, 2025 at 5:07 PM
I definitely noticed the word choices - "consultation" and "participation" for Indigenous peoples. No mention of "consent," as required by UNDRIP. And far less strong language regarding Indigenous nations versus provinces, where he says projects will not be "imposed."

Welp, the threat of separation is one way to make housing more affordable. Comes at quite the cost though.

Ha, looks like all the links off the main English platform page are dead.

Interestingly, the French link works. In reading it, there is very little analysis though - really just a list of committments.

And of course, Scheer talking about that half a joint after the kids are in bed? If he had his way, that would be illegal...

Longer answer:

Highest rate of mortgage delinquency was 0.38 in 2012. The rate stayed above 0.3 in every quarter until Q4 2017. Dropped quite a bit in 2020 and 2021, hit a low of 0.14 in 2022, staying under 0.20 until 2024, when it creeped up to 0.20/0.21 again.

Also just went down a fun rabbit hole of CMHC data, which tracks mortgage delinquency rates and shows 2012 to present by quarter broken out by PT.

Short answer, the stress test put in in 2017 did it's job, and rates of mortgage delinquency were significantly higher under Harper....

It's sad when Scheer - who was trounced by Trudeau and quickly ditched by his own party is your "elder statemen" and the best chance to put a relatable human face on your message...

Understood Rachel - you deserve to earn a living doing your good work, even on bad platforms.

I am a substack subscriber, but is there a way to view your content that has the the best chance of earning you $? Should I be heading to youtube? (Please don't say twitch! I am too old for that!)
