Yes there is. I think it was in “Eric” by sir Terry Pratchett that a demon was promoted and he got a nice office with buttons and papers to organise and nice buttons.
It had been a while since I read so I’m a bit rusty but this would be the best and only way to do it.

It would be different if they could operate their own yacht but even that is too much trouble. (Yes, it is hard to operate yachts but they could have bought a more reasonable one).

I saw a documentary about this 20 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest and the evidence was overwhelming.
So naturally all my kids got vaccinated. Very glad I saw that documentary at the right time.

There are probably other innocent people there who have not made the news yet. 1 person returning will get a lot of attention which will put a spotlight on this. They don’t want that so they cannot afford for him to come back.

It just goes to show how you always underestimate the range of children.

I would recommend anything by Tonke Dragt. Her work has been translated to english and is great.
The letter for the king would be a great starting point.
Maybe a little scary at times but less than Harry Potter.
