Try looking into a wrist cast. They're usually pretty cheap (most I've seen are between 10 to 20 euros) and you can buy them on Amazon or even at any pharmacy. It might help to force you to relax the wrist and are comfortable enough to not be too much in the way (unless you're drawing).

Obligatory I'm not a doctor and I'm in no way, shape, or form allowed to give any professional advice, and you should contact a doctor if it's that painful. HOWEVER, maybe it's a pitched/damaged radial nerve or hopefully it's just inflamed. I use heat packs for 20 min to ease the pain.

Is it a general pain you have or something akin to a carpal tunnel syndrome? If it's the former, I found heat packs or soaking the hand and wrist in warm water to be of great help to lower the pain. If it's carpal tunnel, there's some exercises I could suggest, as long as it's not a severe case.
