A playtester helped me make a change I'd been mulling over for a while. Some effects trigger when a card is drawn, but not when they're drawn during the normal beginning-of-turn lifecycle. He recommended adding a keyword instead, and thus, Retrieve was born! Thanks playtester!

Drawing more trinket illustrations and ended up being pretty happy with how they turned out!

I make all the art on a super low res canvas in Procreate with a limited palette, and I find the restrictions end up pushing me to be more creative and get better results

making more progress on my space exploration themed #deckbuilder. mostly been reworking card effects to provide more interesting decisions and cool moments

originally, it was a single difficulty, but I've been experimenting with "ascension" levels for more difficult encounters and interactions

This a project I've abandoned, picked back up, and reworked many times but haven't gotten it to a place that feels good yet.

It's something of a cross between Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon and Tetris Attack. I think it has potential, so maybe one day I'll figure it out!
