Sometimes cops just riot without explicit orders. That's what they do, start riots. The thing about JB is he's ultimately in charge. Doesn't matter if he's giving orders or not. He's the person who appointed the person giving orders. Buck stops with him. They're his goons at the end of the day.

My comrade in chaos, the governor is in control. If he really cares about not protecting ice he'd remove the person he installed and find someone who wouldn't collaborate with fascists. Good attempt at splitting hairs though, a for effort! And why run cover for a billionaire?

No one is hauling anyone before anything. Team blue with Obama leading had the opportunity to do that with Bush Jr and company and chose to "unite" and let criminals go free. I don't expect anything different now.

Can you read? My response was not a non sequitur. You made the statement that the purpose of the police is to deal with actual. I pointed out that it's illegal to be homeless. That falls into your statement of actual law breaking. You obviously aren't keeping up. Thanks for playing though.

My comrade in chaos lol you say police serve the function of arresting people for breaking the law. We have essentially made being homeless against the law and therefore by your logic police should be used to arrest them. cute little reforms to a rotten system won't work. Defund is the way.

And stealing food because you're starving is one of those actual law breaking issues that police arrest unhoused folks for all the time. A lot of what police do is arrest people for crimes due to severe poverty or literal survival. And most places have made sleeping in public illegal so.....
