Our Lady of the Moon arrives at Western Hills Garden Oct 4 with an intimate opening ceremony. This interactive installation honors release and renewal with evocative signage that guides the visitor to a towering ladder built of recycled California cedar.

We continue our 25th anniversary I Am We series with Ann Podlozny. You saw Ann as Lady Macbeth this spring & you've seen her influence in all of our shows, as she was Artistic Director Ava Roy's earliest theatre teacher.

Ann is so many things, among them she is "We"!

What's next from We Players?

This September, We Players ventures to the stunning Olympic Peninsula in Washington state for our Pacific Northwest debut!

We will present three performances of The Keeper at the lovely Port Angeles Fine Arts Center September 5 - 7.

We Players was born on the Stanford campus 25 years ago.

We couldn't be more grateful for the overwhelming support, the incredible opportunities, & deep love that we've received over these years. We are so deeply proud of the work that we've produced, the art that we've made over that time.

Finally wrapping up this long list of events from our busy 2024!

We of course put on our annual Sites and Sounds concert, this time featuring the tunes of our 2015 production of Ondine at Sutro, arranged for 6-piece jazz outfit.

In 2024 we also premiered a new 'popup' version of our PSYCHOPOMP work, with a gathering of guardian gods to be discovered one afternoon along San Francisco's Great Highway.

Fall also saw us sharing our award-winning Mother Lear at Cal Shakes. #MotherLear is a poignant play about an irascible middle-aged scholar with dementia who communicates with her caretaker daughter using only the text of King Lear as the two struggle with aging, love and their own balance of power.
