"all their money" was never sent to Ukraine. Much of the stopped US support to Ukraine was over-valued old equipment replaced by new stuff from US companies. So most $$ stayed in the US.

This is ultra-right tactics to fool people that some numbers ever were close to the same order of size.

Ultraright jargon: "...all their money..." fooling foolish followers that some numbers (here: SS and aid to Ukrainie) are/were of the same magnitude.
US support to Ukraine was a fraction of SS. And much of it was over-valued old equipment replaced by new stuff from US companies => $$ stayed in US.

Ukraine attacks military-related sites in Russia, so (of course) the Russians outsource that kind of production.
But now Russian roads and railroads close to Belarus might become damaged by "debris".

As a European, I will also avoid US products.
I've been using Tabasco for years. But a product from the red state Lousiana? No thanks. I found a non-US alternative today.

Arguments? One is enough:
– Putin said he doesn't want that.

If Russia is rewarded for its agressions, the question isn't 'if' but 'when' they will attack again.

The political process is EU is a bit more complicted than had it been a "United States of Europe".
There are direct elections both to national parliaments and to the (less powerful) EU parliament.
Then there is indirect representation in the European Commision and the Council of Ministers.

Put a period after "worldwide" and I'll agree.
The abrupt stop of USAID hit Africa hard, leaving more of the continent open to China.
Forcing Ukraine to capitulate—which seems to be the plan—will encourage China to crush Taiwan.
Supporting a genocide in Gaza ...

So, skip the "in particular".

It's not about Trump acting himself. It's about financially strengthened fascists supported by Russian and American MAGA trolls.
December 7, 2025 at 1:04 AM
But he's right, isn't he? Ok not "America", but the USA has become trusted and respected by dictators around the world.

Divide and conquer.

Trump threatens democracy and decency in the whole world, Europe included.
Military threat increased by forcing Ukraine to capitulate, and by "we'll get Greenland, one way or another".
Truth slaughtered by a flood of lies and disinformation, paves way for fascism.
Global warming...
Trade war...

Do you refer to some non-democratic countries?
Well, that's exactly why aid projects pushing in a democratic direction are so important in those countries.
The projects can/should NOT overthrow regimes. But there are other ways to fight corruption and encourage a democratic mindset/way of working.
December 6, 2025 at 10:32 PM
The increased aid to Ukraine shouldn't have been money from African democracy projects. It could have been tax-money, had this right-wing government not prioritised tax-cuts for the rich(-est).

Me too!
December 5, 2025 at 1:27 AM
If you have lots of corrupt billions, maybe you're ok to "invest" a few millions in a project that could give you even more millions back once your puppet in the USA has helped you conquer Ukraine?

We should encourage Poo-tin to bring that plaint to ICC.
