I actually think the rise of federated networks will eventually overwrite and take charge of the Web3 moniker once there is clear market leadership and better distinction between “federation” and “decentralization”. Right now Web3 has an ambiguous amount of overlap with DeFi and NFTs.

hey anil! there’s no blockchain. there’s a user recovery key for accounts, user data is stored in merkle trees, and this is hosted on servers. as if your social data were hosted in a git repo you could transfer from github to gitlab (between hosts)
