I frequently had to help my soldiers fill out forms for food stamps. If they are low ranking, but with several kids, they don’t make enough. I have been out for a while now, but I doubt that they have suddenly started paying a living wage.

This points to another reason to make amends by freeing Native American Leonard Peltier, the longest serving federal prisoner, who is 80 and in ill health. His trial was a travesty of justice, and he is only still in prison because of the stranglehold of the FBI. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Yet, I served 15 years in the Army & can’t get benefits. I will have Mental Health coverage once I’m discharged from the VA Psych hospital.
I’m told I make too much for full health or any $ assistance. Despite being unemployed & out of $.
Those assholes need to try survive on our paychecks
