Was an interesting weekend to finish this book to say the least, but wanted to recommend MARTYR! to anyone who hasn’t read it. Just astoundingly beautiful prose (you can tell the author is a poet), with so much to say about the stories we tell about ourselves and others.

Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see. ~ C.S. Lewis

Still one of my favorite quotes

After an inexplicable season of resilience and fortitude, I treated myself to a library visit today. Walking out with a tote bag of books felt like a coming home of sorts.

Something happened recently that has completely rewired my perspective on life. Traumatic. Life-changing. But I continue to have complete faith in God. He’s trustworthy. Now and forever.

So curious to be told “there’s nothing to see here” when there quite obviously is something to see. Wish I could say that I’m shocked, but unfortunately I’m not. Liars feel compelled to keep lying & spinning in order to preserve their webs.
