Some of this list is outdated. But still useful. What to grab if you need to evacuate with little time.
Emergency Evacuation Items To Gather List. Fill in spaces for number of drivers, number of trailers, number of motorcycles. A list of suggested items for a 15 minute warning to evacuate, 30 minute warning to evacuate, 1 hour warning to evacuate, and a 2+ hour warning to evacuate. List as follows: 15 minutes: wallet, purse, keys, glasses ; cell phones and chargers ; emergency cash and credit cards ; pets, carriers, leashes, pet meds ; clothes shoes hats coats for season ; hearing aids and medications ; checkbooks, bills to pay ; safety deposit box keys ; extra space to add more things unique to your needs. 30 minutes: the above PLUS pillows, sleeping bags, blankets ; address book and phone list ; jewelry and most valuable personal possessions ; hygiene items ; OTC meds, supplements ; first aid kit ; pet food, dishes, bedding, litter ; children's items, toys, books ; battery radio, extra batteries ; toilet paper, hand wipes, soap ; extra clothing for 3 days, second pair of shoes ; computer, monitor, laptop ; gallon jugs drinking water ; 1 hour: all that plus: guns, ammo, or safeguard them ; cooler with ice, food, drinks, 3 days food, special dietary needs ; important files, genealogy records ; gloves and dust mast for smoke ; paper plates, cups, utensils ; licenses, vehicle titles, deeds ; data or paperwork for - insurance, financial records, medical, wills, power of attorney ; personal property list, photos and appraisals, documentation. Two + hours : albums, photos, home videos, framed photos, military decorations, packed luggage, valuable items, heirlooms, art, collectibles, primary cosmetics, extra vehicles, camping equipment, tent, journals, diaries, letters
