I never blamed the lower wage earners. It all comes down to corporate greed. The CEOs get excessive bonuses & stock options. What do the employees get? A turkey if they are lucky. Profit share if they are really fortunate. One year, a company gave out popcorn bowls instead of a $ bonus.

achieve what everyone is expecting—an increase in living conditions. There’s no way that big business will ever accept a price freeze due to greed which is why big business contributes to more SNAP & Medicaid recipients. We need a different solution since this doesn’t work.

are now making minimum wage as they did not receive an increase. But prices of goods & services have increased in order pay for the increase in some people’s wages. So the new, now-minimum-wage-worker can no longer afford all that they used to purchase thereby decreasing the demand for products.

when fewer people have more available funds (those who make minimum wage prior to the increase), the increase in demand is not as great. Costs of Goods & Services (COGS) have increased due to now paying an increase in some wages. Those individuals who were being paid more than the previous minimum
