I’ve been talking to this guy and he hasn’t brought up sex once. Not in a joking way, not in a “do you have Snapchat?” way, not in a testing the waters by throwing out some random sex related nonsense way…and I don’t know what to do with this. Someone who genuinely wants to get to know me?! WHAT?!

I didn’t previously have my pronouns in my email signature because honestly, and in all my privilege, I didn’t think about it. My coworker though celebrated the forced removal of pronouns from fed employees emails, so mine are now in there at size 22 font.

As an American it feels like we went back to a horrendously abusive relationship with an evil man that we knew hadn’t changed, and now he’s trying to isolate us from our friends like abusers do. Canada and Mexico, and the rest of the world really, I am so sorry.

I have a Gen Z trainee at work who is fantastic. Someone said “America’s Most Wanted” out loud and my trainee goes, “that sounds like it should be the name of a show.”
He didn’t know it was/is a show. He has no idea how many Saturday nights we elders spent watching that after an episode of COPS.
