That's a point, we haven't seen many lately either. Normally we get an influx from the continent but perhaps there is still food available in their home grounds?

Very early I'd say. I've been hearing song thrushes singing too, maybe it's the mild weather?

Thats very worrying Martin. We had half the usual number of goldfinches, but a bonus pair of pied wagtails, pair of chaffinch and half a dozen long tailed tits.
