I love the idea of people taking steps to improve the wreck going on, but, ... petitions which can have no real effect don't improve anything, they just weaken the resistance.

What's important though is that so many will see him making a great effort within his means, and will be encouraged to take steps within their means, rather than just watching the wreck continuing. Thank you @booker.senate.gov you are a brave man.

Proud of you. Very proud of you. So few are bothering to do anything, and I do understand fear. But the stakes are so high.

Yes I continue to have no understanding of why so many Americans fail to understand that independents are a good thing in government, and that the entire government could be made up of them, successfully. Oh wait, "like socialised health care, it won't work in the USA", they say!

I love the fourth estate, but boy has the USA version for the most part been an enormous disappointment all through this. :-(
