I did the exact same thing today! I hadn't realized there were Tesla stocks in my Vanguard Social Index Fund, but there they were, #7 out of the top 10 stocks in the fund. To be fair, including an electric vehicle maker in a social index fund made sense originally, but not this one, not now.
