According to reports there have been Puerto Ricans grabbed. Of course, they had to let them go, but then they had to make their way back to where they were at their own expense. Keep telling people their rights. It's a good thing.

Many of us are proud of Canada, saddened by the fact that some people don't know when they're well off. If it takes some anger to wake them up, that's okay. That's life. Canadians aren't sustaining a movement just because of Trump. We're proud Canadians capable of more than one emotion at a time.

So trying to make one state of such a country is idiocy, to put it mildly. No Canadian with half a brain and some small speck of conscience would want to be part of such a fecked up country as the US. If y'all wanna join 'em, join 'em. They love migrants down there, so off you go. Happy trails!

In practical terms alone, Canada is larger than the contiguous United States, so to make one state of it demonstrates a level of ignorance that's incredible in scope. We are 10 provinces and 3 territories, each with their own concerns and histories, just like the individual states. More....

This is something that has been thrown around in the past and people who support it are certainly not the brain trust of the nation. We are not Americans, we are Canadians. We have a different history, a different form of gov't, and anyone who assumes they are compatible are just mindless.
