Every night before we go to the stage, the band, dancers, and I get in the huddle, and someone gives a speech to get us fired up to play, motivate us, or just say whatever is on their mind. Whoever went last picks the person to go that night. It’s been a really powerful part of the tour and helped us get to know each other really quickly. So many of these speeches have made me cry. We put our hands in the middle and all the same thing together, and then we’re off to the races Taylor Swift in her gold and blue bodysuit sitting in a very nice seat inside the black cleaning cart. There are a strip of lights along the edges. She has a little table with Japanese cat figurines on it. There is a colorful cat picture on the side wall. There is a printed out picture of Meredith with the heading “animal of the day”. Taped with green stage taped to the front.
