South Wales, Train Manager. You'll often find me pushing buttons in the back cab.
Spent some time in Somerset for my AL.

My eldest daughter asked for Thomas last night. She’s only watched it twice before and was never really interested.

I stuck it on and she got all excited “choo choo train!” She said. This morning, we’ve watched about four hours of it.

I hope this phase continues 😂

Rediscovering my love for photography. Going though old photos and remastering the RAW images. A quick before and after of 158 829 on the Up Main at Bridgend c.March 2023

This is incredibly rare working. A 158 I worked CDF-BGN via the Vale of Glamorgan. Passengers were a bit confused!

Now, where is my MK4 to prep? 🤔

I hate it when my daughter is sick, seeing her struggle really upsets me. I appreciate the extra cuddles as she’s growing up and cuddling less, just wish she’d feel better though 😔

I do love a prep. **ALL PHOTOS TAKEN FROM POSITION OF SAFETY**

That woke me up this evening.

Cheltenham Spa in a 158? Sure.

Second free Gregg's breakfast of the day courtesy of Octopus. Much needed.

Growing up, the 158s always seemed to me, to work on my local line. Would always refer to them as the "posh train." Especially compared to the pacers... Another unit, controversially, that I have a soft spot for.

Oh, she's off, off. Don't mind a 158, showing their age a bit nowadays though.

Early turn for me today. Avoiding all the disruption resulting from the storm, however and it's down west for me again. Just the one train today, nice and easy 🤓

Another one of my favourite routes - for my first shift back, I've been to Milford haven. There's something about a long journey with stops that aren't every two minutes that's a joy to work for me.

I never truly understood the love for the CL175s. For me, I found them warm, stuffy and quite frankly... I didn't like the sound of the engines. I could be around one for five minutes and the monotonous hum would stick with me until I went to sleep. This could just be my autism, though 😅

Feeling this right now - my twitter feed consists of far right hatred, trains, planes, buses and... Football... Mainly hatred though, and it's becoming tiring.

My favourite route is Chester and Crewe. Chester is a station with some beautiful architecture. This photo is from late August.

Sat in bed with my daughter, watching her favourite shows and doing her nails as she's struggling to sleep tonight. She may only be 21 months old, but she sure has hell given my life purpose. She'll always have my love and support ❤️

Occasionally I get to pop down to the depot and prepare our LHCS for service. Sometimes, I even get to work them 🤪 Our first class offering is a great experience, and the food is something else 🤤

I'm off work at the moment, but continuing the theme of unusual working. Departing platform 3 at Bridgend a few months back when the main line was closed. First time in my life I've personally experienced this.

Gloucester has the longest platform in the UK. Platforms 1 & 2 are the same structure and it is capable of accommodating 20 carriages. Here I was at P1 heading back to Cardiff, which is unusual for me as we normally stop on P2 on the down.
