Escapee from the X cesspit for some chatter. Alarmed at the state of the world. Art, music, common sense. European. Be kind. ***No DMs***
Because unfortunately many seem to be a bit hard of thinking, same type of people who voted for Brexit because the EU stops us having fish &chips out of newspaper.

There’s no way he will release it, he will stop it when it hits his desk. It’s all for show.

Reform have so far proved that they are even too stupid to run local councils, how on earth would they construct in government a system to deport millions? Imagine the cost alone?! And the endless court cases.
November 17, 2025 at 10:24 PM
This kind of rhetoric appeals to the hard-of-thinking who can’t join the dots and believe it’s actually doable. But unfortunately they will be fired up enough to vote. We are at least 3.5million EU citizens living in the UK. 1)

They don’t do detail, as is apparent, but many of us older EU citizens, who have made our lives here, also draw a state pension, which is defined as a “benefit”. I wouldn’t put it past those evil bastards to claim it back either.
November 17, 2025 at 9:46 PM
How about state pension which is very clearly classed as a benefit?
November 17, 2025 at 9:40 PM
It’s easy to be very negative about reform but I’m hoping they’ll burn out before the next election with too much incompetence and scandals. Surely people must see they are not the answer.

Just had to. This is in Ireland's oldest pub last week.

Patel, Braverman, Badenoch and now Mahmood? All here because of immigration so you'd think they'd have some understanding of why people migrate?
November 16, 2025 at 9:49 PM
It doesn't make sense, most want to start a new life here because their home country is in chaos. Shouldn't they be helped instead and made to feel welcome? It would surely cost more to leave them in limbo indefinitely.

He won’t risk losing in the mid terms, something will be fiddled I am sure. Scary times.
November 16, 2025 at 10:36 AM
Only if the mid terms are conducted in a fair and legal manner, I think. Can’t see anything happening before then. And that’s still a big IF, he did say Americans would never have to vote again. I bet the Efiles will never be released in full.
November 16, 2025 at 9:47 AM
How? I don’t know how the US system works when a president is so obviously very ill and incompetent.
November 16, 2025 at 9:40 AM
Who’s going to do it though.
November 15, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Quite. The “special relationship “ means nothing to Trump anyway when he flipflops daily. Not sure if Starmer is up to the job though. The BBC has so much brilliant content other than the dubious news coverage.
November 15, 2025 at 4:28 PM
And of course they know they wouldn’t be deported - presumably because they earn a lot more than the approx. £38000 base line.
November 15, 2025 at 4:02 PM
She did say recently on the BBC Newsnight show that she was fully supportive of Trump, but wanted the Files released and believes the girls. Can’t wait for her response to Trump dumping her.

Most well functioning countries are social democracies with highish taxes and excellent services. Look to Scandinavia for example where young children and old people are very well looked after at greatly subsidised costs. But the Brits hate paying tax and like to complain about lack of services.

When all the young men of Russia are dead and the women, children and old people start a revolution?
November 15, 2025 at 8:32 AM
How does he know she won’t spill the beans at some point? Is he going to get rid of her too?
November 14, 2025 at 6:58 PM
But not until they’ve erased all references to him 🤦‍♀️.
