Two other terms are needed to complete the portrait: ambitious and greedy. Such individuals seem to have a relentless drive to get close to the top and to reap the rewards of fame and wealth. We are seeing many such people.

Not long ago Trump said that people forget that the 90s were a different world (or words to that effect). A pretty clear hint that he was in it up to his neck.

Rigging 2026 (and 2028) is a much higher priority for him than doing the work of government. He knows that his only chance of staying out of jail is by establishing a lifelong dictatorship.
