I never realised this was a real thing. The executioner protagonist of Gene Wolfe's "Book of the New Sun," carries a sword called "Terminus Est" (this is the place of parting) whose blade contains a column of hydrargyrum that adds extra weight on the downswing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severia...

Hard question. GAZ 2 and 13 are strong contenders, but GAZ12 The Golden Khan of Ethengar would be my favourite. Great primer for including steppes nomads to one's setting, and loved the shaman class.
