Working at home yesterday was interrupted when I heard this outside the office window. Ran downstairs to get cracking views of our local #PeregrineFalcons displaying right over the garden! Won't be adding to my @bto-gbw.bsky.social list, but a great addition for #SuffolkBirds.

Somewhere, in that sea hoare, is a Chough! Honest! Not the best of conditions for #BirdWatching @rspbcymru.bsky.social #SouthStack today, but nice to see some seabirds still on the cliffs. @hughhanmer.bsky.social

Out failing to record #Nightjars for the @btobirds.bsky.social #HeathlandBirdSurvey in #Suffolk this evening. Girls being good fluffy assistants while we stopped to listen to the baby Tawnies. We #HeardAnOwl (or several) but were #ZeroHeroes on the target species front! @hughhanmer.bsky.social

Returning a young Reed Warbler to the reedbed after ringing this morning. Not quite fully grown but able to get about in the reeds ok. Caught under licence. #BirdRinging #NorfolkBirds @btobirds.bsky.social @hughhanmer.bsky.social

Do #Bumblebees eat aphids? Watched two this evening sticking their heads into the curled leaves of an apple tree where aphids are hiding/ being farmed by ants... Or were they collecting honeydew? @bumblebeetrust.bsky.social

A busy little #Bumblebee in the garden this evening, serenaded by a Garden Warbler...unfortunately not in the garden yet so can't be counted for @bto-gbw.bsky.social (but the bee can be!)
