At my cabin, I'm still enjoying my lighted and decorated tree. It's a Chinese New Year tree. What? That's not a thing? I even have an ornament for Year of the Snake. Perhaps I'll start a trend; then I'd be an influencer.

Chores today. Washing sheets and making beds is both strength-building and aerobic exercise for this old lady.

Have any others with newly created Bluesky accounts been contacted by strangers? If I didn't recognize a sender, I blocked them; but I still found it uncomfortable. I figured out with this post how to make it visible only to those following me.

I'm concerned about friends who live in areas of Los Angeles County affected by wildfires. At present, my corner of SoCal has no threatening fire, but I know that can change in a flash when strong, dry winds blow.

I'm going to try Bluesky, because I believe it is time to break with Facebook.
