I posted this on FB a couple months ago and thought nothing about it. But I saw this this morning and it sort of made think again. It’s very easy to take sides and perhaps demonise the farmers as ‘tax dodgers’ and some are. But on a basic level E. seems to be the most logical choice.

That is over 5yrs and over 1k cases carried out for the NHS by private providers…doubled in the last 5 years

For anyone thinking private healthcare is the answer the NHS has paid out a record £84m in compensation after record number of patients suffered botched care & surgery at the hands of private contractors who won NHS contracts
