Ideally, yes. But our reality is different. A small minority of rich and influential people can control the levers of power to bend today and the future to their self-interests. When warped self-interest, and not the collective good, is the engine that drives society, society breaks down.

There are no winners when humanity is suffocated.

Your spirit inspires you to work your illustrations until they fully reflect your vision. That's being your authentic, creative self. The result is beautiful art.

I can remember skating on Lake Champlain when I was in my early teens. This video brought me back to those times. Thank you for making my day!

I've recently explored shifting careers and becoming a high school teacher. I'm curious how the reality of AI will be integrated into the classroom. It's here to stay, and needs to be leveraged, but we can't have the human brain atrophy. It needs to grow and be challenged in order to thrive.

That is a very important point that gets lost in the shuffle. Outsourcing is a voluntary choice. Rarely is it a business necessity where there weren't viable domestic options.

That's what due process is for. It's why John Adams represented the British soldiers after the Boston Massacre. A nation without fair and honest due process is a lawless nation that serves those in power, not the people.

You can't love America and not love the ideals it has stood for for over 200 years. Though it has been imperfect, those ideals include democracy, equality, due process, freedom of the press, and on and on. And the crazy thing is, capitalism won't even survive if those ideals aren't preserved.

And to think we're supposed to be in the 21st century. Congressional proxy voting for new parents should be met with 100% bipartisan support. It's pro-democracy, pro-family, and pro-women's rights, which are three causes on the right side of history.
