A Chris Sims review of A Castle for Christmas (2021), Watched Nov 26, 2021. So this one time me and Matt Wilson were doing a con where Cary Elwes was a guest, and the celebrities and the comics people all had the same green room to take breaks in. So we go in there to get some pizza and Elwes is sitting there with Adrian Paul (you know, from Highlander: The Series?) and they're watching clips from an Errol Flynn movie and talking about different ways they like to film sword fights. That's when I realized that this was basically the Sword Actor version of me and Matt just going to cons and talking about "The Gathering of Five" (the story where Norman Osborn tries to get wizard powers) because that's just what we like to talk about. Anyway I love that dude and this movie is a delight.

Hi AC and Chris. It’s awesome that you got the fence repaired! Not awesome: not giving me any notice that your contractors would be setting foot on my property (I am forever grateful for you all allowing my contractors to put ladders/scaffolds on your land while my house was being worked on! I always asked and gave you a heads up). I came out in the morning to discover workers IN MY YARD, moving around my belongings, walking on my flower beds, when I was in a hurry to get to work on my e-bike. Thankfully, I managed to learn that they did not need further access to my property before I left. Unfortunately, these incompetent bozos trampled all over my native plants*, left pieces of metal fence detritus on my property and just generally left a mess. Please clean it up ASAP. *Kindly give me the name of this business, so that I can follow up next spring if my Jack-in-the-pulpit plants fail to return due to their workers trespassing onto my land without my permission. I will request compensation/new plants if this happens. As you may have surmised, I am done with coddling you all as you attempt to learn how to be responsible, competent and caring owners of a 100+ year old home in this wonderful neighborhood where I have lived, been a PPNA board and block club member and leader, and just generally worked my ass off for over 25 years. I have much appreciated you all letting workers put ladders/ scaffolds on your property to do my siding work. I thank Chris for checking my door locks a couple times. We chat over the fence and I try to give recommendations. Yeah, a decent neighbor relationship. Not like those who have keys and care for one another's pets if needed, or do things socially together like the people who used to live there (renters, sadly-Kara refused to sell them the house after many years as tenants, so she could get the highest sale price possible).
