Why is Jasmine Crockett sending me (in Texas) donation emails via "Fair Fight Colorado"? It concerns me that her national recognition will result in a bigger bankroll and a nomination for an election she can't win. I'm a huge fan of Crockett, but Talarico is our better choice in this Senate race.

Could there be a reason why WaPo chose to hype Black Friday rather than covering the nationwide boycott against billionaire brands? Maybe it's that WaPo is owned by the same guy who owns Amazon? BUY ONLY FROM SMALL BUSINESSES or direct from artists, crafters, and creatives. #aintbuyingit #boycott

As questions swirl about why many folks in central Texas were inadequately forewarned about dangerous weather, I decided to check my phone settings. The "local awareness" option had been switched OFF. I think that means I might not have received the alert if I'd been on the Guadalupe!

When I checked my iPhone settings, I realized that I had the “local awareness “ option switched off. 😬 Fixed it.

I got 2 compliments on my shirt at the HEB this morning. One was from a Latina carrying her <1-yo daughter. She said she was wearing black in honor of July 4. I saw a couple of other women wearing solid black (no logo, no message). If we want independence in America, we're gonna have to seize it.
