It's moronic how people grab a sentence out of an interview and use it to cancel a company which does so many things so good. I get the hate against OpenAI. But keep things in perspective.

Larian doesn't use AI to replace artists, they use it as a way to 'google' stuff (like so many people these days).
The first cars were not better than horses, but in time that changed. I don't know how AI will change, but to cancel a company just for using it like they do is a bit much.

Thank god you did not mention that they use cars as transportation instead of horses. The outcry that would have caused!
