They didn't quite solve the TP feed issue that was always used to justify forcing the class into the back, and mobs with dread spikes and counters were always a risk, but at least I could finally be flexible based on an encounter's needs.

This in our current political climate where banking is pushing bans on adult content, orange man is running a gestapo, and various other rights are being eroded/revoked. The problem with anyone thinking they're apolitical is the world isn't. She played the dumbest game and won the dumbest prize.

People saying she had a similar ancient VRchat model (with the armband) are also missing the point because lack of popularity/exposure then doesn't suddenly make it cool now. An RP "anti-lewd" bit is also fairly sus in this context when you know the alt-right were also anti-porn and such.

At worst, we berate and lampoon those who do. Now, I could also theorize her being in Texas ups her exposure to the rhetoric with it being a RW stronghold of sorts, but without knowing where she is specifically, you're going to get different bubbles in the cities and the boonies.

I mean, it's certainly true Netflix has forgotten what made it an appealing platform to begin with. Compound this with everyone else thinking they can be a streaming service and there's really only one choice left if one can be patient. They'll either get the message or won't.

Of course, even if you disagree with my political observations of the platform, you can rest assured she is safe as long as she keeps bringing twitch money. The fact she's gotten away with outfits that would get smaller streamers banned is my evidence the platform favors profit over principle.

I'll add that the current RW-controlled media makes it difficult for leftist voices to get established and rise. Yes, that includes Twitch. All that "think of the children!" censorship and anti-vtuber bias are 10000% rooted in conservative bullshit. Also why roach king hasn't been permabanned.

I know we tend to overvalue the presence of streamers, real or digital, in the social zeitgeist so some may be seeing this "attack" as a greater threat than it really is. Decent people don't want to see the coronation of another roach king.

But like I said yesterday, she's not getting cancelled. The same blind fandom will guarantee that despite it being their responsibility to help right the ship. I'm just an outsider looking in that hates how conservative everything has left this world a worse place and is actively worsening it.

At this point, I'm sure there are those digging deeper into everything to find more signs. That's part of the risk of becoming a public figure and as much as we may bemoan corpo influence, they probably could've prevented this "reveal", too.

Calling it a revival of an old model is not the win you think it is, either, as I can guarantee she would've gotten the same heat then if she had the same number of eyeballs on her. The whole anime/japan/nazi pipeline angle is a thing despite many wanting to turn a blind eye to it because waifus.

Redemption may mandate proving she is not like that, even to an excessive degree, but trying to be all cumbaya isn't going to fix the bridges burned in the moment.
The entire concept was conceived in poor taste given the current US political climate. There is no such thing as being apolitical.

Kinda feel like any apology rings hollow without the promise to never use the model again, pull all PR/merch, and to request fanart not be made of the likeness.
