No. The notion that there's a party wide conspiracy to vote against fascism as part of a secret fascist plot is some Qanon nonsense. The simpler explanation is that an entire political party is not a hivemind and different members have different opinions.

I'm guessing since Bill Skarsgard has an executive producer credit, they got him to a agree to a few scenes or something, but maybe they should have just recast the role instead.

We literally just saw this with the NYC mayoral election. Progressives and leftists paid attention to the local race and turned up to the primary. That's why he's mayor elect and not Andrew Cuomo.

You don't vote as a favor to candidates. You select the best possible outcome. Splitting the votes of the left half of the country while the right half is united produces a bad outcome. Voting in primaries and participating produces better outcomes.
