13. Jackpot! (2024). Immensely fun. A comfort movie that I’ll come back to. The cast is amazing, so are the fight scenes. The airbnb hits too close for comfort.

12. Faster Pussycat... Kill! Kill! (1965). I’m not sure what happened, but I was along for the ride. Plot? Motivation? Who needs that? Not her!

11. Captain America: Brave New World (2025). Eh, it’s a Marvel. Would’ve been more fun if trailers weren’t so spoilery. Also, we’ve been at it for far too long, superhero movies should be mostly standalone. It’s not a fun romp if I need deep lore to get it.

10. For a Few Dollars More (1965). There’s two of them! I especially enjoyed Clint Eastwood being called a young man. Mentorship goals, kinda.

Thank you for sharing part of your story with the world. I hope you can put an end to those horrific practices, educating people is a great first step

9. Moonstruck (1987). This movie got weirder each time I thought it couldn’t get any weirder. I’m in love with it.

8. Teen Wolf (1985). Yeah, okay, the teen parties of the old days were wild. What was the deal with the shaving foam? But I get why people went crazy for the film. Good fun

7. Blink Twice (2024). Amazing and at times discomforting. No gratuitous scenes of abuse, but a lot of creeping fear. Beautiful photography and editing. I didn’t love the ending, but the story was very powerful. Don’t watch the trailer, it shows too much, just watch the movie.

6. Bros (2022). Gay neurotic Jewish New Yorkers are a whole category of characters that I will root for in movies. Witty and fast-paced, the film fought some romcom cliches: and won only half the time. Still, fun, yet deeply profound at times.

5. Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare (2023). This whole troubled teen industry found in the US is morbidly fascinating. I’ve seen several documentaries on it in the last few months; can’t believe it’s still going. America, man.

4. Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women (1968). yeah, this feels like reading old sci-fi (and not the good ones). Still, I found it kinda comforting, in the way junk food sometimes is. Loved the seashell bras and carnivorous plants.

3. Renfield (2023). The whole abusive relationship take was refreshing and made for a good base for this whole story. It all just made sense. it’s always good to see Ben Schwartz, the whole casting was 10/10

2. Robocop (1987).“We practically ARE the military” said corporate chief overseeing the police. Seems kinda on the nose. Loved the ‘understated’ puns (bad guy named Dick, 6000 SUX car, an ad for an artificial heart by Yamaha - very Modern Talking); overall better and bloodier than I remembered

1. A Fistful of Dollars (1964). I love the way the exposition was handled. I see how this whole series is a classic. I miss when movie guys looked real, like Clint Eastwood did
