Popular ships are cool and all, but sometimes the really good pairings are just ones that haven’t been thought about.

I had a friend who used to draw a rarepair (didn’t even know it was a rarepair at the time, despite being one of the only people in the fandom to draw fanart for it) who paired the two characters together with some pretty good reasons in mind, as well as relating to the relationship as a whole too.

Looks like the account doesn’t exist anymore on my side, so that’s good news
