I've actually have had some take me up on the offer. But it was after a year of the book being on ebay and no takers.

I send them a low ball offer just to piss them off.

Most of the time they have an auto reject set though.

Dear Dead Delilah?

I will agree with that. Moorehead was a superb actress! I loved her in Dark Passage. Also a vastly underrated performance.

I often wonder if the disk makers found out the rights to the Vincent Price version was too expensive and subbed the silent so they would not have to change the cover art.

While not much of a Campbell fan due to his politics, Who Goes there is a fun read.

I also do books to reel reads now and then. Poseidon Adventure is interesting, as is Dirty Dozen

I think it is funny they could not tell a silent from 1929 from a 1959 talkie

Guess because they were both in b&w? LOL

While this doesn't have anything to do with the Last Man (which I simply adore, for all the reasons others have listed here), I got the Vincent Price collection mainly for this movie.

The funny part is the third movie included on this disk was The Bat. Only it was the original movie, not the VP

That is a nice screen! That handmade?

First took advantage of the surge in direct distribution. Doing this allowed them to get out really new stories at the time. It was the breath of fresh air the industry needed.

Get the Jon Sable Freelance trade if you can find one. While the cover isn't all that snazzy, it is a good way to start the series.

Comic politics aside, I would thought First's characters would have been way too violent for either DC or Marvel at the time.

Though I would have paid real money to see Badger go "Yo, Larrry!" all over Superman

DC and Marvel were really pissy at First during those years. They hated the idea of creator owned characters and titles. I have always suspected this was the reason Epic dunked on Jim Starlin so much.

Yeah, sorry. I need the extended cab of the Ranger 2011.

Fun part of me is people asking why I drive it. I tell them I bought a truck that wasn't based on my penis size.

Really? I haven't looked since then. Normally I would have gone to my LCS for a set of bags, but the pandemic sucked everyone dry, at the time. So did Amazon and here we are:

Course my needs are more Golden age than Mod/Silver like it was back then. Only 400 left to go!

This was 2020....I still have most of them left.

My collection is less than 1K
