I got a book for crocheting dolls for Christmas cuz I want to make dolls of my north lake ocs, so I made this practice one of an oc I had years ago and look how cute she turned out!!!

Today my dad held Winnie for me while I worked and I could hear him softly whispering reassurances to her cuz she was shaking 🥹 my mom meanwhile cuddles with her at least once a day, even leaving the dinner table to get her because “I haven’t held Winnie yet today it’s my turn”
Decided to try and convince my parents to let me get a dog (I unfortunately rent their basement “apartment”). My mom is excitedly looking at listings with me. My dad on the other hand may be harder to convince…I feel like a teenager again lmfao

Tomorrow will mark a full week of having Winnie. She’s napping next to me right now and I just burst into tears realizing that this scared little sweetheart is mine, my responsibility, and I get to give her the best life she possibly can after spending six years as a baby machine. I love her so much
