my favorite cons the past two years have been solo ones where I’m usually adopted into new friends groups/ forced to find groups like the ones I love so much. biggest case of this is how I’m so unexcited for mff vs how pumped I am for fc where these friends will be and potential for new ones is high

which isn’t bad per se some people just don’t click w/ others I get it and it’s something I need to stop focusing on. still always down to jam out or play games when I’m in the mood ofc. though I need that stimulation of being loved and made to do new things rather than the same over and over again

I have like severe anxiety and I’m afraid of ending up alone. Which is why I try and divide my time equally among all my friend groups but that’s just not sustainable. I feel like some of these groups have me as just a music or game buddy and don’t really care about me other than for that.

not to mention, they also introduced me to a lot of things that at first I was a bit shy and hesitant to do but ended up having the most amazing time dancing the night away. Realizing more and more that I need to focus my time on these folks for my own mental health and happiness.

one of them used they're guest of honor access to get me in to a few prime time events and man was it such a fun time raving and dancing, 4 hours felt like 30 mins in there. i know like they can only get a select amount of people in so just feels extra special that they picked me as one of them.
