After 13 years in the US, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave. Having packed up everything and rethought about priorities, rather painstakingly, while I’m sad to leave the life I’ve made here, I’m also relieved that I won’t have to plan my life around immigration policies anymore.

My enthusiasm for this game's release is faltering
Artist may have used AI and the game got a boost on Twitter by a far right account which was received positively by the dev
Jury is out if the game assets were generated with AI and if the dev knows who that person that boosted it is

Finished the demo for The Secret of Weepstone and it was short and sweet
Did a good job of showcasing the gameplay
I was hoping for some random encounters, which is hinted as being a thing from the monster rarity
Really hoping that they provide a toolkit to create adventures but I doubt it

Today at the Atlas of Mystara: Michele Carpita’s Latitude Issue from April 2012. A study of the wandering lines of latitude in official sources, marked up on the Hollow World Set map. Useful to have all of these collected in a visualisation like this. I referred to it myself on multiple occasions.

One thing I'm discovering with playtesting my game is I'm asking for too much mental bandwidth from the player with card abilities
If I, the designer of the game, am having difficulty remembering what does what, that's not a good sign lol

Holy crap my game is hard
It didn't help I kept rolling skulls which lowered my food production & kept advancing the enemy to my doorstep
The battles are flowing better after changing how armor works
Still tweaking unit experience & reinforcements
Prototyping in TTS is helping a lot too
