We do what we must because we can.
It sounds like you are referring to the Canadian province of Alberta...

Videos like this are a level of horrifying that is so far beyond anything books, film, or television can achieve.

Of course the UCP response here is to deny (necessary) additional funding requested by the Chief electoral officer so that the UCP can claim these recalls and citizens initiatives are illegitimate or some other excuse.

I think this is more of a "wooooo" tbh.

This sponsored post fails to mention how independent Canadian authors are left out and don't get to be "certified Canadian".

The website linked in the "article" is a url redirect to a promotion site, and there is no information on joining the program. (I assume you must be an ACP member.)

Seems like Singh is using this as a political opportunity to lose more seats...

NDP was on a roll for a minute there with the supply and confidence and pharmacare but I don't get the strategy here. Is there a strategy here?

I read these yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it. I agree, so much of our national identity seems to be tied up in "well we're not American"... I used to think being Canadian was cold weather, hockey, silly kids PSA songs, and Mr. Dressup. But maybe that was just nostalgia vs identity.

FYI: Tim Hortons is owned by RBI which is not Canadian.
