Hey, Dems: You know what fits on a hat?

DO THE THING.

Housing? DO THE THING: build housing.

High-speed rail? DO THE THING: build high-speed rail.

Renewable energy? DO THE THING: build solar & wind.

Social Security? DO THE THING: tax the rich — eliminate the cap — and save social security.

#WeHo, it's time to follow Cambrodge’s lead and end exclusionary zoning.
I can’t believe it - after years of advocacy, exclusionary zoning has ended in Cambridge.

We just passed the single most comprehensive rezoning in the US—legalizing multifamily housing up to 6 stories citywide in a Paris style

Here’s the details 🧵

Yet another car crash on #Fountain Ave in #WeHo. When will the City (@wehocity.bsky.social) do something to make this death trap safer?

We need slower speeds for cars, wider sidewalks for pedestrians, and bike lanes for cyclists now!

We're excited to see West Hollywood City Council prioritizing alternative mobility and expanded bike infrastructure in the city's plans for Metro expansion. 🚲❤️🚇
The #WeHo City Council approved the First Last Mile Early Assessment Plan 5-0 last night. Proud to work for a City that’s ready to proactively work with Metro to maximize access to future rail service. Let’s #FinishTheLine!
Some highlights from the recommendations: enhanced protected bike lanes and bus lanes, scramble crosswalks, metro bike share and a bike hub, unarmed security kiosks, bus stop islands, joint development of excess land used for construction, and other station activation concepts like retail kiosks.

The US has two options in the next few decades:
1️⃣ Massively scale up condo, townhouse, and small-lot housing production; or
2️⃣ Stop being a homeownership society and watch the wealth gap skyrocket.

Tearing down a freeway in the heart of Seoul is one of the best examples of reclaiming space previously dedicated to cars. Visiting the area was a highlight of my trip to the Korean capital.
