Sadly I am one of the few people I know that dislikes this movie. It’s one of my least favourite Scorcese films.
I’ve genuinely tried to give it many chances on my various watches. But it didn’t change one iota what I felt the first time around.

I agree, but DDL is fantastic…plus little things like “welcome to America, now go fight for your country” are direct punches regarding our political exploitation
