It’s because both sides have nukes. It’s highly unlikely a nuclear power would use a nuke on a non-nuclear one. Everyone should want that genie to stay inside the bottle.

It’s because 80% of the “news” (from both sides) has turned out to be verifiably false. But I agree it’s being largely overlooked which means if the sh1t really hits the fan it’s going to surprise a lot of folks.
