The pile of plow-snow between my car (2WD PriusC) and the road means I have basically sworn off driving between now and whenever enough of the snow has melted.

If you're a mushroom enjoyer, might I suggest this Mary-Ann Esposito recipe from 90s-era PBS. I've really been cranking the mushroom dial up on this over the years, I think most recently I did a pound of cremini and half a pound of shiitake. Have also used assorted other mushrooms with great success

I first saw it years ago in a Blaseball discord, of all things, because I supported the Ohio Worms, and it's lived rent-free in my head ever since.

I did drunkenly make me and my friends a bunch of pizza one night during our first year though. Mostly because pizza is the perfect drunk food and I was upset about the lack of late night slice shops having recently moved from New York State. That one good place was not close to my apartment, sadly.

Even when I lived in the Midwest for a decade, there were serviceable local spots to get a whole pie, considerably better than chains. The college town where I went to grad school even had a good by-the-slice spot.

I assume you pick up your grains by the bundle and thresh/winnow them yourself, then?

Are we Blueskis supposed to still be upset about the "Good [jeans/genes]" ad?

I mean, I guess I've been boycotting AE since then, in the sense that I haven't bought anything from AE since I was in college.

Some of the AI images hallucinate air ducts that would cost 5-6 figures to retrofit into a dwelling of its size.

Having flown out of Dayton myself, it's simply because the Dayton airport is tiny (20 gates across 2 concourses) and doesn't see a lot of traffic.

Rather, I'd say they were coolers but there's a non-euclidean basket of fries on top of it so who can say, really

His platform includes removing gifted and talented tracks *for kindergarten* not the whole thing altogether. Kids can still be shunted into the program once they have a solid year of school under their belts, jfc.

If the ask behind "Fight for $15" had kept up with inflation, it'd be the "Fight for Just Over $21" now

I've had pretty good experiences with Microcenter. If you're not physically near one (and even if you are they tend to be out of the way and therefore hard to get to without a car) you can choose "shippable items" from the location drop down to see what laptops/desktops can be mailed to you.

Since it's *just* a stain on top, you could probably sand and refinish the floors and be fine. Before I pressed play I was worried it was self-leveling cement or thinset or something, which would be much harder to restore.
